For more than 47 years, Michigan Humanities has supported public humanities in our state through programs, grants, and partnerships. In 2019, we officially began to honor and celebrate the outstanding contributions to the humanities in our state by recognizing individuals and organizations who have advanced the humanities in Michigan through their scholarship, leadership, support, and education.
