On September 17, 2020, Michigan Humanities will honor and celebrate outstanding contributions to the humanities in our state during our first Virtual Michigan Humanities Awards. Michigan Humanities will recognize individuals and organizations who have advanced the humanities in Michigan through leadership, education and advocacy. In 2019, these prestigious awards honored Meijer, Eric Hemenway, Charles Ferrell and Wild Swan Theater. What better way to honor and recognize the important work being done in our state?

Join is on Thursday, September 17, 2020 to celebrate the outstanding work of humanities leaders throughout Michigan, in small towns and large cities. We hope you will join Michigan Humanities in this celebration by donating! Your support is so important as we are awarding grants and funding programs to a historically high level in every corner of our beautiful state.
